Flow Pack packaging machine with rotary sealing, 120 pcs/min, FW500E, Smipack

The new FW series of automatic flow-pack packaging machines is designed according to Industry 4.0 and IoT (Internet of Things) technological platforms.

The version with rotary sealing bar system consists of 7 models (five with upper reel, including three dedicated to the entry-level sector, and two with lower reel) and allows packaging of a wide range of products with irregular shapes and small dimensions, which are fed into the machine either individually (single doses) or previously grouped (multipacks).

The sealing and film folding systems, combined with the dynamic and adjustable former, make process adjustment on FW models versatile and fast.

• Technical features:
• - Rotary bar sealing system;
• - Product sliding surfaces made of AISI 304 stainless steel;
• - Feeding system with adjustable guides and interconnected pallets, easy to remove;
• - Longitudinal sealing performed with 2 pairs of drive rollers: the first pair pulls the film, and the second performs sealing;
• - Manual opening of longitudinal sealing rollers;
• - Upper film roll support with mechanical clutch (film tension control system);
• - Film roll support shaft with pneumatic expansion;
• - Standard dynamic film former with position indicator and numeric display;
• - Transversal sealing with 250 mm sealing bar – 9.84”;
• - Height adjustment of sealing bar position via handwheel;
• - Motorized discharge conveyor, height adjustable via handwheel;
• - Product scrap collection trays along the entire feeding conveyor length;
• - Printed film centering device, “no product – no bag” function, and end-of-film sensor included;
• - Motor configuration controlled by inverters: feed conveyor / longitudinal sealer / discharge - conveyor, with independent asynchronous motors;
• - Motor configuration controlled by drives: transversal sealer with brushless motor;
• - Machine stops in synchronized position (in phase).
