Flow Pack packaging machine with rotary sealing, 80 pcs/min, FW300E, Smipack

New FW series of automatic packaging machines with flow-pack system, designed according to Industry 4.0 and IoT (Internet of Things) technological platforms.

The version with rotary sealing jaws consists of 7 models (five with upper reel, three of which are dedicated to the entry-level sector, and two with lower reel) and allows the packaging of a wide range of products with irregular shapes and small dimensions, which reach the machine either individually (single doses) or previously grouped (multipacks).

The sealing and film-folding systems, combined with the dynamic and adjustable former, make the setup process on FW models versatile and fast.

• Technical features:
• - Rotary jaw sealing system;
• - Product sliding surfaces made of AISI 304 stainless steel;
• - Adjustable guide-fed infeed system with interlocking, easily removable paddles;
• - Longitudinal sealing performed with 2 pairs of drive wheels: the first pair pulls the film, and the second performs sealing;
• - Manual opening of longitudinal sealing wheels;
• - Upper film reel holder with mechanical clutch (film tension control system);
• - Reel shaft with manual locking system;
• - Standard dynamic film former with position indicator and numeric display;
• - Transversal sealing with 150 mm (5.91”) sealing jaw;
• - Height adjustment of sealing jaw position via handwheel;
• - Motorized discharge conveyor, adjustable in height via handwheel;
• - Product waste collection trays along the entire infeed conveyor length;
• - Film centering device for printed film, “no product – no bag” function, and end-of-film sensor included;
• - Motor configuration controlled by inverters: infeed conveyor / longitudinal sealer / discharge conveyor, with independent asynchronous motors;
• - Motor configuration controlled by drives: transversal sealing unit with brushless motor;
• - Machine stop in synchronized (in-phase) position.
